Petite LaFleur, founded by Suzanne LaFleur, is a Berkeley-based chocolate business dedicated to creating confections that celebrate flavor and craftsmanship. Suzanne’s love for chocolate began at a young age and grew through years of experience as a pastry chef in San Francisco and as a production manager at Dandelion Chocolate, where she learned the bean-to-bar process and the business side of chocolate-making.

Driven to craft chocolates that could be enjoyed any day—not just on special occasions—Suzanne focused on creating nostalgic, high-quality treats. Inspired by international candy bars and honeycomb toffee, she noticed that many lacked depth and balance. This led her to develop her signature Salted Chocolate Honeycomb, a treat that perfectly balances sweet, salty, and slightly bitter notes for a complex and satisfying experience.

Operating out of The Berkeley Kitchens, home to other artisanal brands like Xulo, Batter Bakery, and Cult Crackers, Petite LaFleur combines small-batch techniques with a commitment to quality. Every bar reflects Suzanne’s dedication to flavor, texture, and the joy of chocolate that can be enjoyed anytime.
